New for 2014 - Goliath - Six Flags Great America

The folks at Rocky Mountain Coasters (RMC) have  two great additions to the world next year.  They're certainly on a roll with their new coasters.  This is a custom wooden coaster, which will feature two inversions:  including a dive-loop and an inventive twist on the zero-g roll.  The fact that this coaster even has a dive loop is frightening enough, but this completely wooden coaster will also have the longest drop (180 feet), steepest drop (85 degrees) and will be fastest wooden coaster in the world (72 mph).  Six Flags Great America is removing the Ragin' Cajun wild mouse coaster, to make way for this world class attraction, and I'm sure the residents of Illinois could not be happier!
